Joining the Carillion Pension Plan
If you are eligible to join the Carillion Pension Plan and would like further information on the Plan or how to join, please contact AskHR on 0800 783 4269 (option 5). The Plan is not an auto-enrolment pension scheme, employees need to complete and submit an application form to be entered into the Plan.
The forms for joining the Plan are only available from AskHR as they need to confirm your eligibility for the Plan, before the forms are issued. Joining forms are not available from this website.
Should you wish to join the Plan, the application forms should be returned to Core HR, c/o Carillion plc, Carillion House, 84 Salop Street, Wolverhampton WV3 0SR (and not direct to the Plan administrators).
Core HR will arrange for your Application Form to be sent to JLT Employee Benefits, the Plan administrator, once it has been processed by the payroll team. JLT will then contact you directly regarding your Plan membership.
Any queries regarding the date when the first deduction from pay will apply or when payments to the Plan commence, should be made to AskHR.
If you are joining the Plan as a "late entrant" with company consent, AskHR will ask you to complete an additional medical declaration before full life assurance cover can be provided under the Plan. Please note late entry to the Plan is at the company's discretion and on such terms (if any) as the company applies at the time. Employees who do not join when first eligible, may not always be able to join the Plan at a later date. Further details on the company's policy on eligibility and late entry to the Plan can be obtained from AskHR.
If you do not complete an application form you will not be entered into the Plan, and you will be assessed under the auto-enrolment regulations if you are classed as a "UK worker". If you meet the criteria (please see Workplace Pensions for further details) you will be auto-enrolled into the Carillion Workplace Pension Plan.
